Find the product you need ASAP

1. Labeling rows and shelves with an intuitive system.

I would suggest that for rows these should be letters sorted in alphabetical order. For example, A - Milk, B - Meat etc.

For labeling shelves, there would be additional numbers in ascending order. For example, A-1 the firth shelve at the Milk row, B-13 - the thirteen shelve at the Meat row.

2. Adding an additional function to Price reader at the hall and also to the smartphone application.

a) Price reader should be able to input search request.

b) Smartphone application takes your geolocation and searches in relevant store.

EXAMPLES of queries and answers.

1) Search query: Product A.

Search result: Out of stock. Delivery is scheduled on 3.06. Click "Inform" and you`ll be informed when the Product A would be placed on its shelve.

2) Search query: Product B.

Search result: Product B is placed on the shelves B-9, G-11.

The convenient system for quick orientation in the supermarket

Everybody knows the rule "consuetudo est altera natura" (habit is as second nature), it means when we used to buy often in some supermarket, he became our favorite one because of this "consuetudo". But even there in some cases you can`t find the product you need (quickly or at all). They say, the supermarkets today are not interested in convenient system for quick customers orientation in their retails. Perhaps it may be visible the name of the department and that`s all.

"He is used to your store, therefore he will come."

"Just write the name of the department for orientation." (Milk, Meat etc.)

"More time the customer spend inside your store - more additional things he buy".

In my opinion, all of these or similar "rules" are wrong and don`t meet the needs of today. Our habits can be changed, if there is a better and quicker solution of our needs.

"Find the product you need for only minute" may become a great market changer and make you much more competetive.

HOW?

How to implement the convenient system for quick orientation in your supermarket?
