ABOUT ME
My name is Anatolii Melnyk. I am a life-long entrepreneur, inspired event organizer and continuous improvement enthusiast. Since October 2023, I have been living in Canada, starting from scratch in the city of Calgary. A city that captivates me with its beauty, entrepreneurship, diversity of people and unpredictable weather. I totally fell in love with it!
Ideas
Сontinuous improvement
"Just set me the goal" - that's my desire to help businesses thrive. I am very goal-oriented by nature and enjoy finding ways to achieve my goals. Therefore, I am interested in working on specific tasks (goals) that you set for me.
For example, depending on the size of your company and its field of activity, I will research and identify less efficient processes and gently restructure them to save up to 5% of the company's resources. The next step will be to analyze your company's current system for both finding new customers (sales department) and working with existing/regular customers (customer service). It is very important that I actively participate for several weeks as a subject of the system you have built (as a sales representative, customer success manager etc.). As a result, I will try to find a way to increase its efficiency by at least 5 percent.
After that, if the company is ready to work effectively with more customers, my next important step is to generate and test incredible marketing ideas that will increase interest in your brand, product, or service by 10 percent and gradually form a new habit of using it.
Event organization
I also love effectively bringing people together by organizing "soft networking" meetings for the Community of open-minded individuals, which was established in January 2024. These meetings are based on the idea of relaxed and interesting communication through questions and answers, using a system of communication circles.
Although the idea of “soft networking” came to me before I arrived in Canada, when I was struggling to find my first job here, I decided to implement it ASAP so that people could get to know each other and help each other find jobs (through personal recommendations).
Life, business, family, and work
Nowadays I have over 20 years of active experience behind me: life, business, family, and work. I have been through a lot and spent a lot of my money boldly experimenting with marketing and sales to find out what works and what doesn't.
I plan to launch one or more of my startups as soon as possible so that I can buy a house in Calgary for my family and invest more in my children's education and talent development. I also want to be able to fund numerous social initiatives to help society thrive.
Since November 2024, I have been happily working full-time with wonderful people at an incredible company in Calgary. It has a healing effect on me. After work, I usually deliver food with Uber Eats or earn extra money in other ways.
To get inspired, I sometimes mentally return to my presentation to the Business Sharks (the Ukrainian equivalent of Dragons' Den) on May 5, 2006. I managed to convince the “sharks” to give me an interest-free loan for my socially oriented cleaning services business (which I had been running successfully for over 10 years before the Covid pandemic began). This important victory back then proved to 22 years old me that everything is possible!
Since my very childhood, I have had a gift for communication, attention to detail, and a natural curiosity about everything around me. I never stop asking: "Why and how does it work?". This leads to the birth of ideas.

The Community of open-minded individuals follows an innovative approach to networking - "soft networking". It gives all the participants of the event an opportunity to meet and communicate. After getting to know each other, our goal is to help each other find their dream jobs.
