QUICK JUMP

A chain of fast food restaurants serving Ukrainian cuisine.

The concept I have developed includes not only naming and marketing, but also the entire implementation cycle - from the first steps to the development a franchise package. The business can be sold to any effective restaurateur at either the first or second stage.

First stage: one effective Dark Kitchen with daily revenue of $2,000 and a ready-made plan for further development. Cost: $1 million.

Second stage: ten effective Dark Kitchens in different areas of Calgary (two each in NW, NE, SE, SW, and Downtown) with a combined daily revenue of $20,000. A franchise development plan for North America is included. Cost: $10 million.

Startup #1

The basis of Startup #1 is my experience of building from scratch a Ukrainian cuisine dark kitchen in Poland called “Pyszny Turek”. To build a franchise model, I will apply my more than ten years of experience in developing the "Universalnyj Prybyralnyk" franchise network of cleaning service companies in Ukraine.

A modern and efficient food delivery service.

Having made over 3,000 food deliveries as an Uber Eats courier, I noticed quite a few shortcomings and ineffective solutions in the Uber Eats Driver app (for example, deliveries over a distance of 30 km). In my opinion, the app development team is working too slowly on some of them. For example, as of July 10, 2025, the ability to filter orders by direction of ride has not been implemented, although this feature has been displayed in the app for over a year.
So I came up with the idea of a new delivery service that would be significantly more efficient than its competitors in three key areas:

  1. Commission size for restaurants,
  2. Delivery speed,
  3. Interaction with couriers (including their reward).

In implementing this startup, I may use some of the elements described in the idea “5-kilometer zones for Uber Eats drivers.”

Estimated investment:
$1 million, most of which will go toward developing a new app or purchasing a ready-made app with the possibility of further development (to save time). In addition to the app's functionality, naming, and operating mechanism, I have already come up with a powerful marketing strategy that will launch the company onto the market like a rocket. It will make the company recognizable and give it a chance to take the leading position, overtaking all three of the largest players in the food delivery market: Uber Eats, SKIP, and DoorDash.

Sale price:
$100 million at the stage of gaining a 40% share of the food delivery market in Calgary.

Startup #2

A supermarket where you don't waste time.

I intend to transform one of the unsuccessful (or even practically bankrupt) discount chains in North America or Europe into the most effective player on the market, one that will serve as an example for all the most famous chains, all those who want to survive in a rapidly changing world.

In such supermarket, the buyer will spend no more than 60 seconds to find the desired product. As a result, the time spent in the supermarket will be reduced to the minimum possible, and the amount purchased will rarely exceed the planned amount. The main focus will not be on shoppers who waste time wandering through endless aisles trying to find the right product and end up buying unplanned items that they come across. The main focus will be on the supermarket being able to satisfy the demand of a larger number of shoppers in a shorter period of time. This will be achieved through a well-designed navigation system, a fast app with no unnecessary features, and exceptional marketing that will help to eliminate old, ineffective shopping discounts.

While implementing this idea, I intend to use the following ideas:

Startup #3

STARTUPS

At the moment, I am developing ideas for the five startups. I plan to implement them independently, investing my own funds obtained from the sale of the restaurant business in the second stage. However, since this may take several years, I am also considering attracting investors to speed up the process.
